This palette is so bloody good. I was so so excited to get this, I waited until release day and boom, straight in the basket it went! I normally wear eyeshadow quite heavy but the pigment is so amazing you don't need half as much - a little really does goes a long way with this baby. My favourite shade is 'Throwback' - a matte, warm red / brown shade. YUM!

Mole Blasting: Part 2
(Daily Report)
I have repeated the process.

I was happy with my initial blasting results and it quite frankly left me astonished. I was pleased I did not overdo it first time round so I could keep an eye on the intensity of the ACV and what damage it was doing to my mole.
Day 1
Lets do this.
Like I said, the mole has flattened again after healing. So it was time to zap it again.
I filed it more this time. Determined to get to the root. Oops: I used an illuminating moisturiser under my makeup so the mole looks a little more raised on the photo because of this.

Day 2
Woke up to a white mole. Weird. But good! Literally scabbed up in an hour. It did weep a little with a tiny bit of blood, maybe because I filed the shite out of it. Despite me making sure the mole is covered under the plaster it seems the upper section of the mole is more porous or less resilient than the lower part. This could be due to me unintentionally filing more of this part of mole. Just be prepared as this could happen to you. To overcome this I just zap it for a few more days or zap the unaffected area with an ear bud until the mole is completely black.
Day 3
Woah, loads flatter on the top section of Mr Mole (almost flush with my skin) and pretty darn blackened. The scab has spread a little too. It looks like I've coloured it in with a marker pen lol.

Day 4
Oh my god. I've broken the back of the mole. I'm convinced! It looks sunken. I woke up this morning and the mole was not white but the scab looked darker and flat. One part still hasnt scabbed, stubborn thing. It felt different this morning, it was not painful but it felt tight and a little uncomfortable. I can't feel it at all now (mid morning). Tonight I will NOT leave the plaster on all night because I don't think it needs it, but I will zap the part which hasn't been affected with an ear bud! The scab is literally black. Although I have a scabby face i'm happy about it! Tonight I will smother it with Neosporin.

Nicknamed myself Crusty McCrustathon. It has dried up nicely. I spot-zapped the unaffected part last night but this morning it still hasnt really taken a battering. I am going to let myself heal now and not put any more ACV on and see what happens to the unaltered section because I don't want to over do it and damage my skin. If it needs another session that's cool with me!
So it's totally dried up. It's mega crusty.
IMPORTANT: FYI I used the Neosporin and it made my scab very 'moist'. I could have easily pealed it off which is not ideal as it could lead to scarring. For this reason I will not be using it until the scab has fallen off.

Mr Mole is standing about 2mm off my face! It's beginning to get annoying. I know most people would have picked it off by now but I'm trying to eliminate scarring as much as I can. It has not changed but I would say it looks slightly smaller - maybe because it's dried up a considerable amount.
Day 7
I'm so close to picking this off!! The scab is hanging on desperately and everyone is telling me NOT to pick it but it's literally hanging on to almost nothing. So, I'll remove it tonight. I'm happy to say it looks good!!! No blood, puss or anything nasty in sight. It looks reasonably dry under the scab too and I can't see any pigment it just looks pink

Technically I'm still healing but I want to start stage 3 soon so I thought I would show you the results of treatment 2. The part top right is completely flush with my skin. The lower part is raised a little. Most people would probably leave it be now but I feel one more little treatment will finish this mole off for good. The mole looks quite a lot bigger and raised than it actually is.
As I say i'm still healing. It is only day 10 so considering how it was a few days a go its healing really well... I'm still totally amazed at the results!

I've gone for a different technique this time... unfortunately because Dermatend has been taken off the shelves (see why here). This one is completely natural and you probably won't believe it even works but it does (I'm still in shock)

So, I left the old 'beauty spot' on my face mainly because I liked it as it was unique to me. Plus, I wanted to see how the other moles turned out after I'd blasted it. I had a good think and I decided that the mole would only get bigger and bigger until I resembled that of Nanny McPhee, so, it had to go. By the way, my old moles have been absolutely fine, they haven't grown back and I've had no trouble whatsoever with them. So, I plucked up the courage to zap my 27 year old mole...But the Dermatend I'd bought had completely lost its power, it did nothing at all to my ever growing mole.
I decided to look elsewhere. I did some more research. I found an amazing blog post by Don't Waste the Crumbs. I was in disbelief. How on earth could a product which you could buy in supermarkets zap moles from your face for a fraction of the price of surgery?
My mole is not as raised and I was flabbergasted how easy it was. It actually worked.

I thought what the heck, I'll give it a go. After having this ever growing mole since birth it's time for us to go our separate ways. I read somewhere that someone said "raised moles" are really what most people just call "bumps on the face." I'm sorry to break it to you but most people don't see them as this. Most people see a big fat brown mole on your face. As you'll see from the photos, my mole was quite raised.

Initial Results
I tried to take a photo for you every day.
When I took the plaster off in the morning my mole resembled something similar to a blister. Gross. It was white and much flatter. Yay. Take that Mr. Mole. The mole then scabbed over and turned black. Yes, ugly I know but it was worth it. The first time I did this I did this every night for around a week! I also zapped it in the evenings whilst sitting watching TV by just placing the ear bud directly on the mole soaked in Apple Cider Vinegar because the sides of the mole didn't really get blasted with the plaster.
The third photo looks a little out of place but this is genuinely how it looked. This shows how it was actually sunked in the middle.

Having had a full on dry scabby face for about 4 days I could not resist taking a peek underneath. It was looking good! Please try to resist picking off the scab in the first few days as this will stop the healing process. When the scab came off the pigment had decreased from my mole on the rim of the mole. I was scared I could be left with a large pit in the middle of the mole. It was quite sunken but still had a scab in the middle, so I left it to heal. Once the scab had fallen off I decided to give it another little zap with a soaked ACV ear bud (last photo below) and as you can see it scabbed around the higher parts of the mole.

One treatment has not removed it entirely but it has certainly reduced it. The photos don't really do it justice. My family and I are so impressed. My mole is not as raised and I was flabbergasted how easy it was. It actually worked. I gave it around 2 weeks to heal. In this time the mole flattened out again, not not half as raised as it was though. The colour had still decreased, almost to nothing but a flesh coloured mole. It resembled a raised round spot. It was much easier to cover with makeup. You can't really tell from the photo but the height of the mole has decreased massively.
I am happy to give the mole as many treatments as it needs until it has gone completely. The Apple Cider Vinegar did not penetrate the mole deep enough and will need another session. I think the older and/or bigger the mole the more treatment it will require. Having had mine for almost 30 years it is bound to need a bit more work.
If your mole is flat but has pigment you may only need one session. My mum was so impressed she tried it on a flat mole on her cheek and it totally took the pigment from it.

Get your plaster ready.
I place it face up on the counter (so the white pad on the plaster is facing up)

Dip the ear bud / q tip into the Apple Cider Vinegar so it is saturated.
Gently squeeze any excess off (the plaster won't stick to your skin if it's too wet). It needs to be wet but not dripping.

Pull off the end of the ear bud so you're left with a little wet ball.

Place the ball on the center of the plaster.
Line it up with the mole you want to zap and carefully stick it down. It does take a little bit of practice.

Sit back and relax.
You may feel a stinging sensation but this is good news, this means it is working!

I wanted to try a few minis before splashing out on the full sized products. I find they are quite expensive so I'm excited to see if they live up to the hype. I have tried the "Porefessional"and "That Gal" primers and they're great!
I bought "How to Look the Best at Everything" (Medium) and "Do the Bright Thing". I got a free mini bottle of Instant Comeback Serum too.

Yes. Finally! Pretty boring for everyone else but this has taken over me life over the past month or so. My (pretty much) daily partial water changes the past week or so and water testing have finally paid off and I've got my toxic nitrite levels in my fish tank down to 0ppm aka ZERO. It's been a real journey and I had no idea the process of the nitrate cycle was so involved before I took the plunge and bought my tank. Happy Fishies = Happy Charlotte.

I'm currently on Day 2 and things are great. I've also made a note in my diary to get it cut every 6 weeks (apparently this is a MUST for long hair) to get rid of those pesky split ends. I hate the hairdressers but my hair needs some TLC so I'm going to stick to it. I'll make a progress blog post.

I've heard of a few horror stories about the fragments getting in your eyes and damaging them. The fibers are made from green tea so it is natural. Some of the imitation brands probably do cause harm so it is probably wise to stick to Younique.
There are three parts to using this mascara:
1) Your own mascara
2) Base Layer: The Younique mascara
3) Fiber Application: The fibres
4) Seal Coat: The Younique mascara
I was surprised to hear you still need your existing mascara but the base layer/top coat is only used to help the fibres stick and used to seal the fibres on afterwards.

The transaction between base layer to fibre application needs to be speedy. I found I got better results from quickly putting the fibres on literally striahgt after using the base layer. So it is wise to make up one eye at a time.

I use the mascara for special occassions as I am normally rushing around like a headless chicken in a morning so I don't have time to apply this.
