Naturally Healthy Dog Foods from Clydach Farm Group

One girl and her dogs...
"Naturally Healthy Foods"
If you follow me on Instagram I am sure you are well aware we have two bustling, boisterous, wonderful dogs who increasingly test our patience, but give us both a lot of love!

They are my fur-babies and have completely and utterly taken over my life.

When it comes to dog food its a minefield out there. There's so many different options; puppy, diet, working, hypoallergenic... the list goes on and on. Where do you start?

First off you want to try and get your dog on the best food possible, right? But with so many options out there it's hard to work out whats best for your dog.

It came to my attention that both Brudge and Teslas food wasn't up to scratch. They were on Purina Beta (Large Puppy). I'm now aware that big commercial brands don't produce the best food on the market and I just want to make you aware that the big brands aren't always the best.

Whats so good about it?
They're completely honest about whats in their food. You can expect 50%, human grade, fresh, locally sourced meat with digestible carbohydrates such as Sweet Potato. It's packed full of goodness.

Clydach do things the right way. They operate ethically; from buying and sourcing (raw materials, farmers, food surplus) to the entire culture of the company. They're based in picturesque Wales and they care about the environment they work in. They even aim to deliver your parcel carton neutral.

My Thoughts

The one thing which struck me most about Clydach Farm Group is, they truly care about our animals. When they got in touch I felt they wanted to help. Unbeknown to me commercial brands pack dog food full of 'cereal' and 'meat and animal derivatives' - this could be any species of animal, from any country, from any ethicality. I was initially surprised to find out, like other commercial brands that their food was poor in terms of nutrition.

Yes, its super convenient to pop down to the pet shop and grab some food thats on offer or order some food off Amazon Prime but is it worth it? It's easy to get caught up in the commercial brand advertisements. I'm so glad I've switched their food for something healthier. Not only is it good for my dogs but its ethically sourced too so its beneficial to everyone.

My Dogs Thoughts

Like every dog owner, the most important thing to me is that my dogs are happy and healthy.

After just ONE week of introducing Clydach Scottish Salmon to my dogs stools had completely changed.. for the better! I could never understand why their (Brudge in particular) poop wasn't right. I wasn't feeding him too much, I was using a puppy food and I was (what I thought) using a good reputable brand. I won't go into massive detail but the colour just was not right and it was hard work cleaning up after him. I was beginning to think it was his breed but after trying Clydach its transformed him.

"Simple, healthy and clean foods offer functional and holistic results on stools, coat quality and overall health. “You are what you eat”!"

Not only that but their not half as 'gassy' and Brudge is not constipated anymore. I'm massively impressed. I never thought I would find a food which suited Brudge as i'd already switched from another brand but this seems to be perfect for him! Teslas stools have improved too. They both love their food.

They're extremely alert, lively and happy. My dogs were eager to get inside the bag before as soon as it was open so it smells tasty! We were shocked at how quickly it had an effect on Brudge and Tesla and I'm so thrilled that I've finally found a food which suits them both. Are you tempted to give it a shot? Why not see if your dogs love it as much as mine!

I personally want to thank Callum at Clydach Farm Group for introducing me to the Clydach brand and healthy nutrition. But most importantly you have helped my dogs be become healthy inside and out.

What do you feed your furry friend? Have you thought about switching?
