I've gone full nautical style with a navy and white stripe cropped tshirt and white heels. I'm wearing a Waring Brooke hairband too! I love wrap-style designs (both dresses and skirts!) so I love the side split. It gives that feminine flair to an ordinary longline skirt and looks elegant. This is also a winner during warmer weather and holidays.
The gorgeous fabric is also crease-free so perfect for popping in your suitcase or travel bag for getaways. The three (non-functional) shiny gold buttons offer a vintage look which I love.
I'm wearing a size small (UK size 8-10). The waistband fits beautifully and is comfortable and flattering. You can tuck a shirt or T-shirt into the skirt easily. The fabric is thick and heavy and made from cotton. Crafted into a raised ripple (ribbed) knit designed to not accentuate any unwanted bumps. Hand made in in Nottingham, UK.
