Get Spring Ready with Alan Paine

 Spring/Summer Knitwear

Make every day feel like a sunny day 💛🌻🌼

I don't know about you but I am SO ready for some sunny days. Can someone please give the weather a gentle reminder that sunshine is the preferred forecast? We have some pretty bluebells popping up and the woodland is full of primulas which is a warming sign of spring, however, we have so much mud and have done for months. We're really experiencing April showers right now and with a storm thrown in I've forgotten what the sun looks like. I've started to introduce some spring-inspired colours into my life to counteract the English dull skies.

I'm pleased to introduce you to Alan Paine who have some NEW Spring Summer Knitwear

LADIES COTTON CASHMERE JUMPER

Available in Carnation, Navy, Sand, Solar, Spearmint and Steel Blue

I'm top to toe in Alan Paine for this look. I'm wearing an Alan Paine sky blue cotton shirt underneath my new jumper with my Alan Paine Surrey Tweed Skirt in Hazelwood. The cashmere/cotton blend feels blissful to wear because it is lightweight and well fitted (thanks to it being knitted to shape on the knitting machine). You can tuck it in nicely to a skirt (and jeans or trousers) without it being bulky and creating awkward bulges in all the wrong places.

I've worn my Alan Paine blue shirt underneath, however, I'll be wearing this jumper without a shirt underneath too because it feels soft against the skin thanks to the cashmere blend.

"The fusion of Pima Cotton and Cashmere creates the softest, most comfortable cotton blend you’ll wear. It’s the perfect choice for warm spring days and cool summer evenings..."

This is the pink "carnation" colour with a crew neck instead of the V-neck option. I've opted for another skirt (this one is from H&M) for an extra dash of feminine, a pair of heels and a Welligogs crisp white ruffle shirt (Welligogs ~ 10% off CHARLOTTE10).

Both of the jumpers I am wearing are size 8. As always with Alan Paine, the sizing is great so they are true to size. The "solar" and "carnation" colours were my favourite Spring Summer colours. I love the steel blue colour too and the spearmint tone would look great with a crisp white shirt or white jeans. I tend to wear a lot of the "sand" colour for my daily attire so these new colourful jumpers have really brightened up my wardrobe.
